This beautiful hand painted nineteenth century chest from Italy is a lovely oxblood color with hand painted flourishes and pastoral scenes in a creamy golden hue on the front, sides and top. It has a contoured top with cabriole style legs. The drawers are carefully crafted with dovetail joints. The chest is in great condition considering its age. Some surfaces do have minor signs of wear and tear that enhance the warmth and charm of the piece.
